Your account & activities
Privacy, in plain words.
This application helps caregivers plan activities for people living with dementia. It is an activity aid, not a medical tool. Please do not enter recipient names, diagnoses, health details or care notes.
Your caregiver account
Clerk manages signup, login and account details. Your authentication information is handled by Clerk under its privacy policy. Qloo and Gemini do not receive your Clerk account ID or email from this application.
What saving does
Saving is your choice. When you select Save session, we store your confirmed cultural favourites, accepted activities and their source context, activity durations, discovery preferences, and favourite/rejection/“Worked well” marks in Google Cloud Firestore. Saved sessions are associated with your account and are available on other devices after login.
Discovery pools and run traces are not saved with your session. Your unsaved changes stay in the open page and disappear if you refresh or leave. The public demo has no saved-session access.
Remembering preferences
New sessions reuse cultural favourites, feedback and discovery settings from your saved sessions in this account. The most recently saved decision wins when sessions disagree. Activities are never accepted automatically. You can start without saved preferences; deleting sessions removes them from the history used for future sessions. For now, use one caregiver workspace for one person.
Your choices
You can reopen, update and delete your saved sessions from My sessions. You can save up to 20 sessions per account. Deleting your Clerk account triggers automatic deletion of its saved sessions and remembered preferences. This runs through a signed webhook and may take a short time; failed deliveries are retried. A minimal hashed account marker is retained to prevent late saves from recreating deleted session data. Application operators with authorized cloud access can administer stored data.
Searching and discovering
Search text and public cultural entity IDs go to Qloo to resolve favourites and discover related artists, films and shows. Gemini receives selected cultural information and returned metadata to help select and screen possibilities. The app does not send recipient identities or account identifiers to these services. Please only search cultural names, not personal information.
External media & operation
Result images load from image URLs returned by Qloo. Images use no-referrer requests; they are not copied into the public source repository. Matching searches run after you pause typing, and names are sent to Qloo to find matches.
Spotify loads only when you choose its player. Spotify and external search sites receive requests when you open them and apply their own terms. Cloud hosting and authentication services may process technical request data. The application does not log planning request bodies.
Hackathon preview · updated 28 October 2026. Automated content notes can miss things. You make the final decision and can stop or switch activities at any time.
